Its not everyday that your heart breaks.. but last Monday was one such day. We had been to SDM College of Engg. Dharwad , to participate in the zonal level of Aspirations 2020 ,conducted by INFOSYS. I was one of those selected in the Quiz and Distinguished Engineer categories from our college..It was me and Vikram in Quiz team.. the college was nice, and we settled ourselves well.. the preliminary round was easy, and we were sure that we would make it to the stage. On the contrary, we were no even in the 4 teams of our college who were called for a tiebreaker.. There i stood at the back of the auditorium, shaking my head in disbelief. It was a shocker for me, who has loved Quiz so much all these years of my life.. Vikram was upset too, but he got over it quickly. I thought of leaving the hall if our name was not in the final list, But i did stay, for the love of my Quiz. That paid off handsomely, when i answered a question in the audience round and bagged an audio CD of "The World Is Flat" by Thomas L. Friedman. that sure brought me some relief..
